Advanced pressure vessel filtration units utilizing catalytic media beds to convert and trap dissolved iron, preventing red-brown staining and protecting delicate membrane systems.
Efficient Iron Removal for Reliable Water Treatment
Iron Removal Filter (IRF) Systems are designed for the effective removal of iron from raw water and process water to improve water quality and protect downstream treatment equipment.
The system typically uses a pressure vessel filled with suitable filtration and/or iron-removal media. Depending on the feed-water characteristics, iron can be converted from its dissolved form into an oxidized, particulate form and subsequently retained within the filter bed.
The treated water passes through the media bed, while iron precipitates and other suspended particles are retained. Periodic backwashing removes the accumulated solids and restores the filtration capacity of the media.
