High-rate physico-chemical separation systems combining integrated pipe flocculators and micro-bubble generation to efficiently float and skim suspended solids, oils, and grease.
High Rate Solid Contact Clarifier for Efficient Solid-Liquid Separation
The Electrocoagulation (ES) System is an electrochemical wastewater treatment technology that uses controlled electrical current and sacrificial metal electrodes to destabilize and remove suspended, colloidal and dissolved contaminants from industrial wastewater.
During the electrocoagulation process, metal ions are released from the sacrificial electrodes, typically iron or aluminium, while electrochemical reactions generate coagulant species and gas bubbles. These mechanisms promote coagulation, flocculation and flotation/settling, enabling effective separation of contaminants from the treated water.
The wastewater enters the EC reactor, where electrical energy is applied across the electrode plates. The generated metal ions react with contaminants and form hydroxide-based flocs. These flocs capture and destabilize pollutants.
